So how does it wear on the wrist? I’ve said it before, but I am someone who prefers when a buckle sits in the middle of my wrist. It also helps that both watches share the lollipop seconds hand. I always liked the SPECTRE model, so recreating this look with my Seamaster 300 gives me a Bond vibe I enjoy. More importantly, the Bond NATO for the SPECTRE model is bespoke to the watch and 21mm wide - precisely what I needed for the new Seamster 300. ![]() It also had a different color scheme with two olive-green stripes surrounded by thin red borders. Although, I must point out that the strap seen in the close-up in Goldfinger is a pass-through, not a NATO. The style is somewhat of a callback to the strap on Sean Connery’s Rolex Submariner ref. Then it struck me that Omega gave us the limited-edition SPECTRE Seamaster 300 in 2015 to coincide with Daniel Craig’s penultimate Bond movie. Black omega velcro strap how to#That left me in a quandary for how to pair an Omega NATO with my Seamaster 300, as I needed a NATO that was 21mm wide. Conversely, as demonstrated by James Bond, a strap too small for the lugs can leave an unsightly gap and the spring bar exposed. Having the strap bunched up at the edges does not give the strap the freedom to articulate and possibly wears away the material. I’ve always been in the camp of selecting the appropriately sized strap for the watch. The same goes for the 22mm NATO, which Omega suggests is suitable for 21mm lugs. But the 20mm strap can also be squeezed through the 19mm lugs of watches such as the Speedmaster First Omega in Space and Calibre 321. The 20mm strap comfortably fits the Speedmaster Moonwatch and the Seamaster Diver 300M, undoubtedly two of the most popular Omega models in the collection. So why is this NATO so pricey? For some years now, Omega has offered a broad selection of NATO straps in two sizes. The MoonSwatch was a palatable £207 and even appreciates exponentially on the pre-owned market. You may be wondering how much I paid for this NATO strap, so let’s get that out of the way first. But as great as the strap looks by itself, it’s how it pairs with my Omega Seamaster 300 that made it such a worthy acquisition. This particular strap has gray on two inner lines with a black center and black outer edges. The Omega strap in question is the 21mm SPECTRE NATO, which mimics the early James Bond strap with five distinct stripes. Yet I appreciate both items dearly for what they offer. Judging by these two purchases, I am seemingly getting much more bang-for-buck with my MoonSwatch. I must remind you the Omega × Swatch Speedmaster MoonSwatch is a fully functional Swiss-made quartz chronograph with a bioceramic case, Hesalite crystal, Velcro strap, and surprisingly crisp dial. This piece of woven polyamide with Omega-stamped hardware is more expensive than a MoonSwatch. (For example, you can now even get the Komfit bracelet on which NASA personnel were also known to wear their Speedmasters.) Available only in 20mm widths to fit the Speedmaster's lugs, the new Omega x NASA straps come in black, white and silver variations, at a price of $190 each.Yes, you read that title correctly. Omega's new strap will enhance Moonwatch ownership, but it's only part of a culture and cottage industry fetishizing the Speedmaster and NASA missions. Black omega velcro strap professional#In recent years, however, there have been efforts to offer an ever more faithful and authentic Moonwatch experience this NASA strap paired with the latest-generation Speedmaster Professional watch featuring its upgraded 3861 movement is arguably as close as a modern watch can get you to those used on the historical space missions. The famous Moonwatch that accompanied the first humans to the moon in 1969 has been in production (and an irresistible value) ever since. Though quite different from the design of most straps on the market today, it should offer a very precise and comfortable fit. Each attaches to spring bars, and the long end loops through the short end's keeper. Instead of the long single-pass design that was built to NASA specifications (which was designed to fit over spacesuits), Omega's new version has a distinctive two-piece design: The short end features the NASA "meatball" logo, while the longer end has Speedmaster branding. ![]() ![]() ![]() The Arc A770 16GB proved to be somewhere between the RTX 3060 and the 3060 Ti, on average, in 1440p gaming scenarios. The Arc A770 scored 93 fps on average, followed by 88 for the 3060 Ti and a measly 67 for the RTX 3060. Android forza horizon 4 backgrounds 1080p#We tested the 16GB version of the Arc A770 at 1080p and 1440p in a number of games, comparing pure gaming performance as well as its ray tracing capabilities to the RTX 3060. Intel itself has admitted to the fact that Arc Alchemist does a much, much better job at running DirectX 12 and Vulkan titles than DX11 and older, and this is proven through our tests. In this article, we’ll focus on how the A770 fared against the RTX 3060, but the numbers are there if you want to consider how they compare to AMD’s RDNA 2 GPUs, too. We’ve had the chance to review the Arc A770 and the A750, so we’ve put them through a number of tests and compared them to similar options from Nvidia and AMD. This comes at the cost of the total board power (TBP), though - an extra 55 watts is nothing to sneeze at. Ultimately, the Arc A770 certainly has more memory and faster bandwidth, as well as a higher boost clock. The RTX 3060 sits in between with 12GB, which is more than the RTX 3070 (8GB). With that said, let’s check out all the specs and compare them.Īs you can see, the two Arc A770s are virtually the same, apart from the large disparity in memory size: 16GB and 8GB. The real battle will inevitably take place between the 16GB Arc A770 and the RTX 3060. With that in mind, it’s hard to say when and where it will really make an appearance. However, Intel itself will not be releasing the 8GB version, relying instead on board partners to do so. The comparison gets even harder when we take into consideration the fact that there will be two versions of the Intel Arc A770 and not just one - one with 8GB memory and the other with 16GB. Both the cards are so different on an architectural level that many of the usual suspects, such as the core counts, won’t give us any real indication as to which card is better. Comparing Nvidia graphics cards to Intel’s Arc purely by the numbers is difficult. We’re starting off at a tricky point by trying to tackle the matter of specs. Read on to find out which GPU wins the battle. Now, with Intel joining the fray, do these two industry stalwarts need to start worrying?
